Tonight

Tonight will be our (Daddy, Jordan, and me) first night to sleep alone in the bedroom. Since my Mom passed away, my sister and her kids, and Tita Nonie and Dorie, joined us in our house and slept in our bedroom. This Tita Nonie said they did to relieve us of our sorrow. They'll be going home today. I hope tonight will not be so lonely for us three. Daddy cried this morning and I hope he won't tonight.

Dear God, please stay with us while we sleep tonight.
