Horse!!!

I was born 1978 and it was a year of the Horse. I love horses (but not as much as I love cats.)

I went to Marinduque last week and I had a few beers with Daddy and the Scouters who were with us. For pulutan, we had alimasag, tulingan, nuts, and shrimp. There was also ginataan with sili leaves. They said it was ginataang kabayo and they asked me to take a bite. I was hesitant to do it but the adventurous person in me made me do it. And also it was bad to say no to the host. It really took a while for me to taste it but it tasted like beef. There was a pungent after-taste, I'm not sure if it's from the sili leaves or from the horse meat itself. But I must say it was good.

I was born on a year of the Horse, and I ate horse. Take that!!!
